Our Au Pair Driving Assessment is designed to evaluate an au pair’s current driving abilities, identify areas for improvement, and provide professional feedback to help ensure safe and confident driving in the United States.
What the Assessment Includes
During this one-on-one behind-the-wheel assessment, your instructor may evaluate:
- Vehicle control and basic driving skills
- Safe turning, stopping, and intersection awareness
- Lane positioning and lane changes
- Speed management and following distance
- Parking and backing techniques
- Observation skills, mirror use, and blind spot awareness
- Defensive driving habits and hazard recognition
- Confidence driving on local roads and, when appropriate, higher-speed roads
Professional Evaluation
Following the assessment, the instructor will discuss the driver’s strengths, identify any areas that need improvement, and recommend additional training if necessary. The goal is to help au pairs become safe, confident, and responsible drivers.
Pricing & Scheduling
Au Pair Driving Assessment sessions are available by appointment and are $100 per hour.
