We offer Motor Vehicle testing at our office, in our cars, in New Canaan. This is only available to students who have held a learner’s permit and are under 22 years of age. The DMV comes to the driving school to administer the road test. If you are successful, you will need to go to the Norwalk DMV 48 hours later to get your picture taken and receive your CT driver’s license.

Students 22 years of age and older have to go to the DMV to take their test. We offer a package to bring you to the DMV and use our car for the road test. Please call the office for details on pricing and scheduling.

Our road tests are held every week (usually on Wednesday mornings). Sign up for testing is held at the driving school and should be done well in advance as there are a limited number of openings for each test date. You may register for test dates during normal office hours.

Here is the information you will need for signing up:

Completed application form (obtained at the office)

Student’s Social Security number

Permit and student

A parent and their driver’s license

Lewis fee of $125 for full course students and $150 for drug and alcohol students

We can take you to the DMV in our cars!

We offer transportation to and from the Danbury, Bridgeport or Hamden DMV for your road test. You must do at least 2 hours of driving with us in order to use our car at the DMV. Price can vary depending on different options that are available.
